Temporary Online Sales Associate (Nevis)

About the role

TDC is hiring a full-time Temporary Online Sales Associate based at its Home and Building Depot in Pinney's, Nevis. The role manages the online customer service and sales platform and acts as the link between online customers and the retail departments that fulfill orders within the agreed timeframes. It works with eCommerce senior management to improve the online sales fulfillment process so that products are accessible, convenient, affordable and available.

Key responsibilities

• Review and process all orders received through TDC's e-Commerce platform
• Process online payments and refunds together with the Senior Clerk and eCommerce senior management
• Confirm product availability with Warehouse Clerks and Retail Store Management, and liaise with other store locations and check the ERP application
• Work with Purchasing and Inventory on merchandising, customer preferences, feedback and product needs
• Sourcing and uploading of product images and descriptions
• Respond to customers promptly through the designated channels and enforce and monitor the standard operating procedures for online order fulfillment
• Recommend improvements to the fulfillment process and build positive relationships with sales, delivery and administrative staff
• Manage after-sales and care, including customer surveys and feedback, and compile weekly and monthly reports
• Meet performance goals defined by the agreed KPIs and work with third-party vendors where needed

Required profile

• At minimum six CXC/GCE subject passes including Mathematics and English Language
• An Associate's degree in Business Management, Accounting or a related subject is preferred
• At least 2 years of experience in a customer service environment, order fulfillment facility or inventory management; supervisory experience is a plus
• Valid driver's license (standard preferred)
• Physical ability to perform repetitive hand movements, reach shelves, stoop, bend, walk and kneel, and to work long hours at a computer screen
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends, and to move between departments to procure products

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and point of sale software
• Ability to generate timely reports and recommendations
• Strong communication, teamwork and project management skills
