Equine Internal Medicine Faculty – Assistant/Associate/Full Professor

About the role

Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine is seeking an Equine Internal Medicine faculty member to join its teaching team. The role involves delivering equine medicine content across several team‑taught courses and contributing to the continuous improvement of the veterinary curriculum.

Key responsibilities

• Teach principles of equine internal medicine in courses such as Large Animal Medicine I, Introduction to Clinics, and Essential Veterinary Skills.
• Ensure all equine medicine courses meet national and international accreditation standards.
• Facilitate optimal student learning and mentorship.
• Secure external research funding and manage contracts.
• Participate in national/international committees and produce peer‑reviewed publications.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• DVM or equivalent is required.
• Board certification or eligibility in Large Animal Internal Medicine (ACVIM, ECEIM, or similar).
• Preference for candidates holding an MSc, PhD, or equivalent postgraduate degree.
• Demonstrated record of innovative teaching and curriculum development.
• Willingness to reside in St Kitts.
